Krakowskie Zaduszki Jazzowe - the All Souls Jazz Festival in Krakow

Very likely Krakow's All Souls Jazz Festival, known in Poland as Krakowskie Zaduszki Jazzowe is Europe's oldest jazz festival. It has attracted both Polish and foreign jazzmen as well as jazz fans every year in late October and/or early November for over half century. Music has been changing in keeping with current trends.

October 25th, Wednesday.  
7:30 p.m. 
Concert Gardens of Jazz features Poland’s pianist Bartlomiej Lesniak with Horntet Quintet, Funk de Nite ensemble, quartet of saxophonist Ryszard Krawczuk, guitarist Piotr Grzaslewicz, bassist Krzysztof Ropicki, and drummer Artur Malik, plus guest performers Bryan Corbett, Chris Titz, Andy Ninvalle, Marek Raduli, Jacek Krolik, Piotr Zaczek, Piotr "Quentin" Wojtanowski, and Bernard Maseli.
Venue: Malopolski Ogrod Sztuki, 12 Rajska street.
Admission 60 PLN.

October 26th, Thursday.  
8:00 p.m.
Concert of folk jazz features Krakow’s Marcin Wyrostek ETHNO Coloriage quartet plus Poland’s singers Aga Zaryan and Magda Steczkowska.
Venue: Teatr Slowackiego playhouse, 1 Plac Sw. Ducha square and Szpitalna street.
Admission 145 PLN.

October 27th, Friday.  
8:00 p.m. 
Jazz concert All Souls Star features Poland’s singer Anna Maria Jopek and Piotr Wojtasik Quintet.
Venue: Teatr Slowackiego playhouse, 1 Plac Sw. Ducha square and Szpitalna street
Admission 145 PLN.

October 28th, Saturday.  
8:00 p.m. 
Krakow Jazz Gala features UrbSymphony Michal Urbaniak quintet of violinist Michal Urbaniak, trumpeter Michael Patches Stewart, drummer Frank Parker, pianist Michal Tokaj, and bassist Marcin Pospieszalski plus Sinfonietta Cracovia string orchestra. 
Venue: Teatr Slowackiego playhouse, 1 Plac Sw. Ducha square and Szpitalna street.
Admission 195 PLN.

October 29th, Sunday.  
8:00 p.m. 
Concert All Souls Jazz Night features Poland’s singer Magda Steczkowska, violist and keyboardist Michal Jurkiewicz, pianist Kamil Barański, saxophonist and vocalist Marek Stryszowski, and vocalist Marcin Jajkiewicz plus Sienna Gospel Choir. 
Venue: Kosciol Mariacki church (St. Mary Basilica) at Rynek Glowny central square.
